Many kits on the market place the sensor very close to the inlet of the turbo.Unfortunately, turbulence created when the compressor wheel spins up can wreak havoc on the mass-flow sensor. Combine this with big blow-off valves that recirculate a lot of charge air (and add to this turbulence) and you can see why sensor placement is important. With the SFR mass-flow kit there is no need to worry about this.

This sensor is as far away from the turbo as possible. Because the sensor is as far away from the turbo as can be, the accuracy of the mass-flow sensor is far superior to some of the other kits on the market. What this means to you is excellent idle, drivability and power. Our mass-flow kits utilize the P1SC air/fuel ratio calibrator.This is a laptop programmable unit which allows for fine adjustments of your air/fuel ratio.You can also upgrade to the FTC.Fuel Timing Calibrator which gives you the ability to control timing retard.All SFR MAF systems utilizes a 75 MM hot-wire mass-air sensor. These systems come with temperature, barometric and altitude compensation as part of the package. You also have the option of stainless-steel or aluminum piping which is TIG welded. Along with all this you also receive all the necessary hoses, clamps, connectors and wiring harness as well as complete instructions.
